The Science Behind Award-Winning  Technology

Phiten AQUAMETAL technology is supported by extensive research and collaboration with scientists and medical professionals from around the world. Studies have shown that the unique properties of AquaTitanium and AquaGold can influence the body’s electrical fields and biological systems, promoting relaxation and aiding in recovery. By focusing on these natural interactions, Phiten continues to innovate and develop products that support overall health and well-being.

Patented Technology “AQUAMETAL” Research and Development

The Aquametal Research Group is composed of researchers from Kyoto Prefectural University of Medicine, Kyoto Prefectural University, Technical University of Braunschweig (Germany), Massey University (New Zealand), and the University of California, Los Angeles (USA). In an experiment using a stress load model at Obihiro University of Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine, it was found that products using Phiten's Aqua Metal technology (such as Power Tape and various impregnated products) have the potential to suppress stress.

National University Corporation Obihiro University of Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine (Location: Obihiro City, Hokkaido, President: Kiyoshi Okuda) In an experiment using a "stress load model" with Professor Hiroshi Suzuki in the field of genomic function at the Protozoal Disease Center, a restraining device for restraining mice , When comparing with and without application of Phiten's AQUA METAL technology "METAX", it was found that there is a possibility of suppressing stress with Phiten's METAX. We conducted the experiment with Hiroshi Suzuki of the Department of Functional Genomics, Center for Protozoan Diseases, Obihiro University of Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine (Obihiro, Hokkaido; President: Kiyoshi Okuda), using a "stress load model" on mice. When we compared the restraining device that restrained the mouse with and without the application of Phiten AQUA METAL technology "METAX", it was found that there is a possibility of suppressing stress with "METAX".

Verification experiment Phase 2 report by Phiten and Y's, operating the largest self-funded rehabilitation center, "Nokosoku rehab center"
“Phiten Optical Technology" has potential to improve the efficiency of rehabilitation (motor learning) and self-care for hemiplegic stroke patients.

We conducted a survey (Descriptive form to 20 subjects and interviews with 5 therapists in charge of rehabilitation) on the improvement in the efficiency of movement due to changes in muscle tones on the paralyzed side, their self- awareness of the improvement, and their intention to continue using the therapy during the rehabilitation of 20 people with hemiplegia caused by sequelae of stroke, using the Phiten optical technology. The therapist in charge of rehabilitation recognized a real change, and 70% of the patients who received the treatment were aware of the change. As for the details of the changes, more than half of the respondents acknowledged responses related to ease of movements, such as user "lighter and easier to move" and therapist "decreased muscle tension in irradiated muscles and improved efficiency in certain movements."

R&D of patented technology "AQUA TITAN"

AQUA TITAN proprietary material of the Company, is a research group of AQUA METAL , composed of researchers from Kyoto Prefectural University of Medicine, Kyoto Prefectural University, Braunschweig Institute of Technology (Germany), Massey University (New Zealand), UCLA (USA), etc. has published a thesis.
